Before You Enroll

Self-Paced Online Learning (LMS) Complete 10 the online learning modules, activities, and knowledge checks at an individual pace. These modules introduce the HIPPY model, coordinator responsibilities, and the foundational concepts that support successful program implementation. As of July 15, 2026 only one chapter is available for the course in the LMS. Additional chapters will be added over the next several weeks.  All LMS coursework must be completed within 60 days of registering for the course.

Coordinator Group Meetings (Live Zoom Workshops) Actively participate in the required live virtual workshops with HIPPY facilitators and fellow coordinators. These interactive sessions provide opportunities for discussion, collaboration, reflection, and application of the concepts introduced in the online modules.  Please note that these meetings will not be recorded. Participants must attend all 5 events and actively participate. All coordinator group meetings (Zoom workshops) must be completed within 365 days of registering for the course.

In-Person Role Play Experience Attend the required one-day in-person training (or two half-day sessions, depending on the training schedule). During this experience, participants practice essential coordinator skills through guided role play, feedback, and hands-on activities in a supportive learning environment.  The in-person role play experience is scheduled regionally as the need arises. HIPPY US will work with participants and their state office to schedule an in-person role play experience or connect participants to one that is taking place nearby. The in-person role play experience must be completed within 365 days of registering for the course. *Please note that travel and lodging expenses are not included in the enrollment fee for the HIPPY Model Onboarding: Coordinator Edition. Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and accommodations.
